Gina Caranno has sued Disney. (Twitter) It will go to Discovery, and Discovery will expose (under penalty of Perjury) exactly how bad things really are and how they got that way- and thus assist Nelson Peltz in his bid to take over Disney and clean up that mess for good.

Yakov Merkin launched a second chance campaign for Amaranth Angels at Indiegogo.

Final Notes:

You have about one week before Christmas, so get in any orders at Amazon or wherever in now to guarantee that they'll arrive in time.

And if you appreciate what I've done here this year, and would like to show it, I have relevant Wish Lists at Amazon: Fiction, History, Art Books.

It's been a good year all around for the indie scene as OldPub's collapse accelerates and foreign-origin media moves in to fill the void; younger people are reading, just not OldPub trash, and digital is ascendant for that reason- webnovels are a thing.

Watch this space for an imminent announcement of my own next week.
Bradford C.
Commentary:

The ability for TradPub to fulfill any function other than Death Cult culture jamming is gone. One key function is promotion.

Authors must once more become shameless in promoting their own work. Authors are notorious bad at doing this, and many dislike doing so, but do not share this reluctance with those of friends and colleagues.

I suggest, therefore, that a good way to learn-by-doing when it comes to marketing, promotion, and sales is to sell your friends' and colleagues' work.

Once you get comfortable, and competent, then you'll find it easy to promote your own work.
Bradford C.
